One Direction's Harry Styles knows the best way to get ready for a date in LA - hang out poolside with your buddies as you soak up the sun and soak up a few cocktails at the same time.

Just prior to his Friday evening out with new squeeze, Kendall Jenner, the 19-year-old Brit spent an afternoon poolside at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with pals Pixie Geldof and Alexa Chung.

Harry spent over three hours by the pool with his two buddies and another girl as they sipped cocktails while every so often posing for photos and signing an autograph for a fan.
