‘Fast & Furious 7’ Cast Choices Could Cause January Restart, Justin Bieber Replacing Paul Walker

Recent Fast & Furious 7 cast choices could lead to a filming restart in January, following an announcement by Universal that they may be retooling the screenplay after the death of Paul Walker. Shortly after Walker had died in a fiery blaze, the studio had stated that the film would be finished to honor him, and it appears they were right. Source from www.inquisitr.com

Universal later stated that they were shutting down production on the film to allow the actors, fans, and family of Paul Walker to mourn his sudden and tragic death. As a result, the film is rumored to have been postponed, with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes allegedly being moved up to take advantage of the film’s delay. With Paul Walker dead, the film has hit a massive speed bump which could require drastic changes.

Universal is going through footage already shot of Paul Walker to see if they can’t retire his character with what they have. If not, the cast of Fast & Furious 7 may need to re-film everything with a new actor.

If the filming restarts, this could be the biggest insurance claim in Hollywood history. $150 million would need to be paid due to footage already shot before its star’s death. Universal is obviously not going to try face mapping to keep Paul Walker in the film, as was done with Brandon Lee in The Crow.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, if Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Conner must be in the film, the film may require a recast. Justin Bieber is rumored to be on the list of potential cast, as a suggestion from costar Ludacris. The possibility alone could cause an uproar among the film’s fans.

Justin Bieber appears to have a wild side evidenced by his Australia graffiti drama, alleged bodyguard abuse, and various reckless driving incidents. His alleged disregard for the law could make him a surprisingly effective replacement. However, Paul Walker was said to have done scenes in the Fast and Furious series which were close to his heart, and it’s doubtful that the “Baby” singer would have the same feelings about the role.

The January restart is an optimistic goal for Universal as the studio considers the future of filming Fast & Furious 7. Recasting the role Paul Walker was known for could be the biggest chance the studio has taken since going a more serious route with the series in Fast and Furious. The studio is hoping it doesn’t come to that and the film will be released on time with the current casting intact.

The Fast & Furious 7 cast and filming future could see drastic changes leading to a postponed release and possible outrage among the fans.

What do you think about Justin Bieber possibly replacing Paul Walker for the next two films?

Paul Walker: Small Family Funeral and 'Fast & Furious' Crew Invited

Paul Walker's Funeral will be private ... for family only, and in Paul's world his movie's cast and crew is part of the brood.

Sources from TMZ ... Their Biggest concern are Paul's 15-year-old daughter Meadow, who is understandably having a difficult time. They do not want a bunch of strangers surrounding the girl, because she needs to feel comfortable to grieve.

So the Funeral will be by invitation only, and Paul felt the folks on the "Fast & Furious" cast and crew were close relatives. He was with ur phone a lot and bonded with the Most of Them.

The family is also aware ... the cast and crew are grieving just like them, and the Funeral will help ur cope.

It's unclear When the Funeral will take place. Family sources tell sometime after the Funeral there will be a larger memorial, but still by invitation only.

Paul Walker Crash: How Many More People Will Remain Silent Passengers?

Paul Walker might still be alive today if he blurted out one word as his friend roared through Santa Clarita -- "STOP!"

Walker, a passenger in a perhaps malfunctioning and definitely dangerous car on a path to certain death, sat helplessly while the driver, his friend, Roger Rodas, possibly hit the accelerator and didn't stop. Paul Walker, a good guy, one of the boys, a sweet corn-eating, all-American actor who charmed everyone he met and who starred in a wildly popular franchise about racing cars, likely kept quiet when the car ramped up to extremely unsafe speeds on the 45-mph road where Rodas and Walker ended up dying. And it begs the question:

How many other celebrities have possibly been silent passengers?

Princess Diana, who was killed in Paris during a high-speed chase while being pursued by the paparazzi.

Zachary Hartwell
, the passenger that Ryan Dunn
killed
while simultaneously killing himself. Dunn, traveling in a Porsche on a Pennsylvania highway at an estimated 130 miles per hour, lost control of the vehicle and crashed. The car almost immediately burst into flames, and like Paul Walker's accident, the bodies were burned to the point of having to be identified by the decedents' dental records.

There was
Lindsay Lohan and the Porsche she mangled after rear-ending a tractor trailer on the Pacific Coast Highway in 2012. Her passenger/assistant lied and said that she was behind the wheel, while it was determined that Lindsay herself had been the one driving. That accident could have resulted in death, as well.
How many other celebrities had a dangerous penchant for speeding in vehicles?

There was James Dean, who died in a similar accident in a similar vehicle -- a Porsche. How about the artist Jackson Pollock, who killed himself and his passenger while drunkenly speeding wildly?

The bottom line is that Paul Walker didn't have to die. Roger Rodas didn't have to be identified by the fillings he got in his teeth when he was 13 years old. Children wouldn't be without their fathers, families wouldn't be without their sons, and friends wouldn't be utterly heartbroken enough to sacrifice public image by breaking down at the scene of a horrific accident, grasping at the straws of in-your-face mortality for one last chance to say things that will never be conveyed.

Paul Walker could have said, "Hey, slow down." "Hey, let's not do this today." "Hey, there might be something mechanically wrong with this vehicle, how about we don't take this chance right now." Any one of those things could have been the thing that changed the course of events for a whole lot of people for the rest of their time on this earth, but poor Paul Walker didn't have a clue that when he got into the Porsche Carrera GT to take the last ride of his life that remaining silent would be the last mistake he'd ever make.

RIP, Paul. You'll be sorely missed.

Paul Walker Death : Porsche's Been Sued BEFORE Over Deadly Carrera GT

Paul Walker was not the first to experience mechanical issues allegedly inside a Porsche Carrera GT - the car company was  SUED over a deadly 2005 crash involving the same vehicle ... and it paid dearly in a massive settlement .

According to the lawsuit , two men ( a driver and his passenger ) were killed on a California race track while driving a 2005 Carrera GT ... hitting a wall at over 100 MPH while trying to avoid another car on the track .

The family of the passenger Sued practically everyone Involved in the accident for gross negligence - and won $ 4.5 million settlement in a giant ... $ 350,000 of Which was paid by Porsche .

The lawsuit alleged the GT did not handle correctly on the track - and according to the attorney for the victim 's family , Craig McClellan ... sworn testimony from experts Confirmed Porsche, a major design flaw with the GT is it does not have a Porsche Stability Management system.

We're Told the PSMS Uses a computer to correct the car if the rear end loses control - and it is now required by law .

For Porsche 's part , the company denied liability - saying the car fully met federal safety standards at the time - but it still paid its portion of the settlement to avoid further litigation .

It's unclear if Roger Rodas ' Carrera GT limits been fitted with a PSMS - but McClellan says ZERO 2005 Carrera GTS ( like Roger 's ) Came off the assembly line with the system .

PSMS or not , it's worth noting the car has been a HUGE legal pint in the ass for Porsche . So far , Paul 's family has not filed a lawsuit .
