Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crashes in east Ukraine

A Malaysia Airlines passenger jet carrying 295 people from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur has crashed in an area of eastern Ukraine where separatist rebels have been engaging Ukrainian military forces in recent weeks. Ukraine's president, Petro Poroshenko, said the jet may have been shot down.

"We do not exclude that the plane was shot down and confirm that the Ukraine armed forces did not fire at any targets in the sky," Poroshenko said in a statement.

The field next to the tiny rural hamlet where MH17 plunged to the ground was a scene of charred earth and twisted metal. Locals were distressed to find body parts scattered around the scene. The body of what appeared to be a young woman lay about 500 metres from the centre of the crash, while a dismembered foot could be seen on the one road leading through the village.

A strong smell of aviation fuel hung in the air as pro-Russian separatist fighters attempted to secure the area. Ten fire engines remained on the scene after rushing there to extinguish the many blazes caused by the crash.

One local resident, Alexander, said he was working in the field a few hundred metres from its final resting place when he looked up. He feared the aircraft was going to crash on him.

The house in which another local, also named Alexander, and his relative, Olga, live in was just metres from the crash site.

They said they thought the village was being bombed after hearing two or three loud bangs before the force of the impact threw them to the ground.

In a statement, Malaysia Airlines said Ukraine's air traffic control lost contact with flight MH17 at 2.15pm GMT, approximately 30 miles from the Russia-Ukraine border.
"Flight MH17, operated on a Boeing 777, departed Amsterdam at 12.15pm [Amsterdam time] and was estimated to arrive at Kuala Lumpur international airport at 6.10am [Malaysia time] the next day. The flight was carrying 280 passengers and 15 crew." The flight also had a Dutch airline flight number from KLM, KL4103.

Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to Ukraine's interior minister, wrote on his Facebook page that the plane had crashed in Ukrainian territory after being hit by a missile fired from a Buk launcher. Associated Press said one of its journalists had seen a similar launcher near the town of Snizhne earlier on Thursday.

HARRY STYLES’S DAD POSTS ADORABLE NEW BABY PICTURE OF HIM AS A BLONDE 3-YEAR-OLD!!! HE LOOK LIKE SHILOH, BRAD PITT & ANGELINA JOLIE DAUGHTER

Harry Styles's dad has posted of his son back when he was just a pouty, blonde toddler is giving us LIFE.

Harry Style
Yep, this has gone and made our day with this cute little flashback picture of Harry Styles larking about in a Mickey Mouse t-shirt and looking suspiciously like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's kid Shiloh. WEIRD but both so cute.

Shiloh (Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie)

This posted the photo online yesterday much to the happiness of everyone in the entire world, and captioned it: "Just found this photo of H doing some domestic work at Nanny S's in 1997. Aahhh? X"

But despite all the cute-ness, obviously nobody could quite understand how Harry Styles’s curly brown locks somehow sprouted from *this* dead straight, platinum blonde head.

Well, Des doesn't actually understand either. Afterwards, he tweeted: "Seems you liked the photo of H. To answer, yes he was blond - it usual was curly, ringlets and all! No idea why straighter that day? X"

Ermm.. What Do you Thing? Comment Please.

Harry Styles and Nial Horan look a likes were kicked out of a One Direction concert

Harry Styles and Nial Horan look a likes were kicked out of a One Direction concert - after security guards booted them out for their own safety when they were mobbed by screaming girls.

Richard Dickinson and pal Liam Fergusson, 17, impersonate the heartthrobs in 1D tribute band, One and Only Direction.

But when the lads, from Glasgow, went to watch the band for real at a gig in Murryfield Stadium, Edinburgh, they were forced to leave before the gig started after being rescued by security staff from screaming girls.

Apprentice electrician Richard, who moonlights as Harry Styles, said: "It was the craziest thing that's ever happened to me in my life.
"When we got into Murrayfield we were completely surrounded, just photo after photo.

"People were running from the seated areas to the barriers. People were grabbing on to me. It got pretty bad. The next thing I know this big security guard came and got us."
Richard and Liam were lifted from the crowd for their own safety and missed most of the set at Murrayfield, before leaving early flanked by burly security guards.

The pair were forced to hide in an office with security staff - but screaming fans even managed to track them down there.

Richard said: "People started banging on the windows and trying the door. They had to pull the blinds. It was mad. We had to be escorted out the stadium. I was glad when it was all over."

One and Only Direction is the brainchild of former dancer turned tribute act manager Scott Garvie, who recruited all five teenagers from the Glasgow area.

One Direction Accused of Plagiarism with ‘You and I’ Video

One Direction has been the subject of possible plagiarism in the past, but that’s generally due to the music the boy band puts out itself, not their music videos.

However, that’s what an Australian production company is accusing with the group’s new clip for “You & I”.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Australia’s OhYeahWow claims the video is suspiciously similar to one the company created for Melbourne synthpop act Clubfeet. In the video, the five guys morph into each other as they walk along a deserted oceanfront pier.

Toward the end of the video, the quintet, now together as a group and in separate bodies, pull off a stunt in which they meet up with their own bodies, which are posed along the pier in different stances.

The Clubfeet video takes a slightly different approach in terms of location, but the facet of meeting up with one’s body is widely explored throughout the video and is pulled off in a similar style, with the camera rolling along in front of them as the effect is displayed.

In a statement, OhYeahWow addressed the similarities.
It seems that the chaps of One Direction have taken it upon themselves to regurgitate our original concept, as seen in our award-winning clip for Clubfeet’s ‘Everything You Wanted,’” the statement reads. “Don’t get us wrong, we here at Oh Yeah Wow are big One Direction fans and are envious of their ability to maintain flawless hairdos.

To be crystal clear, OYW has nothing against creative evolution. Artists constantly reinterpret other works that have inspired them and we’re fine with people taking a technique and using it to create something new…The wider problem is, that plagiarism and copycatting is becoming increasingly common and acceptable.”

“You and I” was sent to contemporary hit radio last week as the new single from One Direction’s third album, Midnight Memories.

The videos are included above.
